The current issue of ESPN The Magazine is the “NFL Draft Preview” issue. It’s loaded with amazing stories, including a great piece on Robert Griffin III and a great read on the Oregon Ducks and marijuana. 

In the issue, The Mag re-launched the FOB (magazine lingo for front of the book-literally meaning the first portion of the mag). Our new section is called Playbook. For all of you long time ESPN Mag readers, there’s been The Jump, Go, Play and a slew of other names attached to this section of the Mag. But now Playbook will marry print and digital thanks to the launch of Playbook online. I’m a part in all this launching, and I’m proud of the work and I think it’s great. 

So if you like sports and new things-give it a read.

Grindhouse

Over the weekend, I watched Grindhouse on blu-ray, which comes with Planet Terror, Death Proof and all of the faux trailers on one long ass disc. So pardon all of the Kurt Russell love that’s happening over here. Plus, at work, a writer of mine couldn’t nail an interview with Kurt for an upcoming movie—so this may be my way of coping.
